Youth
Youth
Our Educational Programme follows the Unitarian ethos that we are all free to explore our own beliefs and views on life. The values of respect, tolerance and compassion towards others are reflected in the activities we offer. The aim is to see young people relaxing, laughing and having fun together. Everybody’s thoughts and opinions join together helping to create a rich and inspiring atmosphere.
We have 3 main offerings:
1.
Early Years
This material comprises a set of video stories, together with an associated lesson plan for use in home or school setting. Coming soon.
2.
Transformers Programme
Be More, Do More, Make a Difference
The Transformers Youth Programme is for children and young people who want to make a difference in the world. Here we shall provide an interactive experience for 5-10 year-olds that gives a taster of the Transformers programme.
The Transformers programme is based on that developed by Malvern Transformers.
Each ‘Ray’ in the programme (topic) lasts a term or half-term. For each session of each Ray, there is a lesson plan for a session and an associated magazine, The Starfish. Lesson plans will be made available in due course. The Starfish is published weekly during term-time and is available on this padlet site.
For a short interactive taster of some of the Rays visit Transformer Town.
